This is the perfect way to kick-off the year - Yoga + Empowerment Workshops + Boutique Travel in the lux bohemian area of Tulum, Mexico.
Get out of the cold and let the sun shine down on you while you immerse yourself in the magical and healing energy of the area. We will be visiting the historical and natural beauty of Tulum while also relishing in the wellness and foodie scene, including having spa treatments at a luxury wellness center and dining at the best restaurants. You’ll have time to rest and rejuvenate at our eco-friendly boutique hotel on the beach as well as participate in classes that will set your year off to a powerful start.
Tulum Mexico has been growing in popularity over the years due to it’s pristine beaches, the crystal clear waters of the cenotes (water sinkholes), the ‘to die for’ culinary scene, the historical Mayan ruins, and of course the turtles in their natural habitat! Tulum's New Age vibe, jungle-shrouded restaurants and white sand beaches have made it Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula hottest spot. The wellness and yoga scene are at the forefront, which make it the perfect spot to host a relaxing and inspiring retreat. And the weather in January/February is in the mid 80’s giving us a chance to get out of the cold and into the warm waters of Mexico.
We will be staying at a boutique eco-resort on the beach in Tulum. It was built with much love and dedication, greatly influenced by Mayan prehispanic art. Each building is a work of art, sculpted to represent the Mayan Gods surrounding the hotel and will make you feel the magic of our wonderful culture. The hotel only has 15 rooms and is fully ecological, self-sustainable and environmentally friendly. Nestled where the jungle meets palms beach trees, one mile from the entrance to Sian Kaan biosphere reserve and 4 miles from the Tulum ruins, Sueños is pure artist passion designed in total harmony with the environment and a unique, private and quiet atmosphere. Each building is sculpted with a different fragment of the Maya civilization on the outside and a different subject on the inside: sol, luna, tierra, selva y lluvia (sun, moon, earth, jungle, rain).
Beachy, bohemian, and vibrant, Tulum has no shortage of excellent dining and drinking options to choose from. Tulum has finally arrived as a juggernaut of a culinary destination. Tulum's restaurant scene – extremely impressive for a relatively small beach town – has been steadily growing and improving for years; what was once a quiet town has become a boho-chic fantasyland – and beyond the raw juices and yoga retreats and traditional medicine, there is a burgeoning food culture that rivals just about any beach town on Earth. We have selected the best restaurants in the area to eat at for dinners, and a delicious locally sourced breakfast will be served every day at our hotel. Vegetarian & Vegan options are available as well.
Our local excursions cover all the bases with a historical tour of the famous Mayan Ruins, a tour & dip in the crystal clear waters of a beautifully pristine Cenote, and a day of pampering at one of the most luxurious wellness centers in Tulum. Of course we will also venture into the chic downtown area of Tulum as well for some shopping and a wonderful dinner out.
